At Cycle-Rama we have been porting cylinder
heads and building hi-performance motors since 1976. We have set numerous
national records in drag racing in many classes for our customers and ourselves.
In 1995, Cycle-Rama started working on Harley-Davidson's. Our research and
development program on EVO motors has allowed us to work with some of the top
manufacturers in the country, testing and evaluating new products. Cycle-Rama
cylinder head porting is second to none. Our heads are designed with a flow
curve to optimize velocity and port volume for true high-performance street
riding.
- In 1997, a Cycle-Rama prepared 1993 FXR won the
AMI Brute Horse-power Shoot-out in the 80 CID Domestic Street Bike Class with
114.1 rear wheel horsepower. Our horsepower comes from technology, not cubic
inches.
- In 1998 Cycle-Rama produced an 80 CID
Harley-Davidson engine with a staggering 122 rear wheel horsepower. This engine
just shows what can be done with the basic Evolution big twin engine. Our street
engine packages produce engines with over 90 horsepower. When you are serious
about horsepower, you will want to work with Cycle-Rama.
- In 1999 Cycle-Rama produced a 132 horsepower 80
CID Harley-Davidson engine based on Screamin Eagle engine components.
- In 2002 Cycle-Rama produced 159 horsepower in a
107 CID Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engine.
